I gave them a standard Microsoft Word file which was press-ready as far as I am concerned. They charged me extra for "Pre-press" services.

The file provided by the customer was missing fonts. We spent 40 minutes repairing the file before we could send it to the RIP. We had explained to the customer that if she could send us a PDF, we would not charge her.
